Belzin Whistlez

Belzin Whistlez is ecstatic to be back this year to emcee for Pikes Peak Pride. Last year was such a joy and they are feeling fantastic to be invited back for another fabulous weekend of pride and visibility. With a quick wit and a bald head, Belzin’s gift of gab has always been their best feature - even leading to a regular stint every Saturday and Sunday at ICONS downtown for Drag Bingo Brunch. But more than anything they are so incredibly grateful to the producers, sponsors, and organizers of Pikes Peak Pride for working to provide space and a platform for unbridled queerness and community here in Colorado Springs. Happy Pride! Instagram: @belzinwhistlez

Yan Yez 2.png

YAN YEZ

YAN YEZ is the musical project of singer/songwriter/actor/producer/writer/advocate/father/chef/homosexual/professional-wrestling-fan/citizen-of-Raider-Nation/sand-volleyball-enthusiast Nico Yan Yez. After spending months honing in the niche musical style of Indie/Subgenre/Subgenre, YAN YEZ released two singles, Tryer (a sentimental Indie-Pop tune) and SINNER (a hip-hop infused electro-punk anthem.) While the music jumps tonally here and there, there is something static; YAN YEZ consistently writes intimate and raw songs that speak personally and politically to the human experience. Primarily trained as a producer and percussionist, YAN YEZ songs often take shape sonically through musical collaboration. Energy. Love. Frustration. The Pursuit of Truth. Spirituality. Analytics. Sound. Satire. And hopefully a little Sexy. Nico Yan Yez has also been a featured guest on high-profile podcasts (including NPR’s The Pulse) where he speaks on matters of religion, sexuality, and more. Based out of the beautiful state of Colorado.
