Greetings, young stars of Pikes Peak!
We're thrilled to invite you to the 1st Annual Youth Open Mic Contest– offering more youth the opportunity to showcase their talents through various art forms in a safe and inclusive environment.
Whether you are performing alone or in a group, we can’t wait to see your talents. Whether comedy, singing, dancing, poetry, or other art form, showcase your talents to the audience at Pikes Peak Pride Festival with confidence!
All performances should be 5 minutes or less. Please keep to this time frame so that we can stage on schedule and allow for all those performing. If you are chosen as one of the top 3 performers, please be able and ready to perform on the main stage at 4 pm.
Performance
Judges, Recognition, & More
A panel of esteemed judges will evaluate each performance and 3 lucky winners will be chosen each day Saturday and Sunday to perform on the BIG main stage at 4:00 pm each day. Plus some awesome prizes are in store for the top performers and even certificates for all who participate.
You will choose to perform either Saturday or Sunday. Saturday judging is from 11 am to 12 pm. Sunday judging is 2 pm to 3 pm. Both days, the main stage performance will be at 4:00 pm.
Registration will close on the day of Pride Festival on June 8th, 2024.
